Winter Community Sound Bath

Winter Community Sound Bath

Join in community with your neighbours, friends, and family for an evening of blissful sound and vibration! The world slows down for winter and so should we. Allow yourself to retreat inward, releasing tension and renewing your spirit. You’ll be guided through a practice of deep renewal, aligned with the calm and restorative energy of winter—a time for reflection, rest, and inner peace. Tap into our senses while letting the soothing sounds wash over you like a gentle winter breeze, leaving you refreshed and rebalanced.

This 1hr class is being offered by donation to the Trend Arlington Community Association (TACA). Suggested donation is $10 but any amount you give is greatly appreciated. Please register online in advance - cash or etransfer will be collected at the event.

Register here:

What is a sound bath?

A sound bath is a meditative experience where you are “bathed” in sound waves. The sound waves are produced by various healing instruments but the waves don't necessarily have a catchy melody or rhythm like you may have experienced at a concert or listening to the radio. Instead, they are a carefully selected wash of instruments with notable resonance and overtones aiming to help ease listeners into relaxation and help balance their energy. Let your mind drift away to the beautiful sounds of crystal singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks, bells, shakers, drum, gong, and more. Sound baths can be a great way to relieve stress and tension. They create the perfect environment for deep healing of the body, mind, & spirit! The evening will start with a guided meditation to help ease you into relaxation.

What To Bring?

Yoga mat, pillow, blanket, and anything else you need to be cozy and comfortable when lying down. If you would prefer to bring a folding chair or stool to sit on that is okay too.

Facilitated by Clare Cluff:

Founder of Ottawa Community Energy Healing (OCEH), Usui & Shamanic Reiki Practitioner, Sacred Sound Healing Practitioner, 25hr YIN + Aromatherapy, Certified Master Life Coach, & Death Doula (In-Training).

Clare grew up in the Arlington Woods neighbourhood on Parkland Cres. Shortly after moving out of her parents home in her early 20s, she returned to this area she loved so much to buy her first home.

Clare has been on a wellness & spiritual path for many years. Looking to share her passion and gifts with others, she launched Ottawa Community Energy Healing in Spring 2024. Everyone’s income is different and Clare recognizes the need for energy healing services to be more affordable & accessible. By offering services through her clinic using a sliding scale payment system as well as collaborating with other local businesses and organizations, Clare aims to open the door wider so that more people can embark on their healing or end-of-life journey with love, care, compassion, and dignity.

Autumn Community Sound Bath

Join your fellow neighbours, friends, and family for an evening of blissful relaxation! Autumn typically whispers its way into our lives with a chilly wind or an early frost. We can still dance in the sunshine, kicking up crimson leaves, but the days grow shorter. Autumn is the season of harvest, gratitude, letting go, and beginning to turn inward preparing ourselves for the coldest months. We will explore all these themes through tapping into our senses with soothing sound.

Please arrive five minutes early to get settled in.
