COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE, CLIMATE CHANGE WORKSHOP AND POTLUCK: SATURDAY, MAY 2 - 9:00 AM TO 7:00 PM
Community begins with one neighbour, then another—growing into an invisible web of connection that stretches across our neighbourhood.
That’s exactly what this year’s Community Garage Sale is all about!
Host a garage sale or front yard activity from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, for example:
• Coffee or tea house
• Board game café
• Bake sale
• Lemonade stand
• Live Music, Theatre, Storytelling, Book Reading
• Promote your charity or non-for-profit organization
• Tarot card reading
• Children's Games, Toys or Activities
• Guided nature walk
• Plants or Seeds Sale or Giveaway
• Bike repair
• Repair café
• Home-based business
• Maker or artisan
• Youth entrepreneur
Want to be on the map? Sign-up opens in April to have your garage sale or front-yard activity featured on our interactive Google Map!
The map will be shared here a few days before the event so neighbours can plan their treasure-hunting adventure.
Neighbourhood Tip: In a large, car-dependent neighbourhood, proximity matters. Chat with nearby neighbours and team up — turn your street into a lively, walkable and bikeable hub of activity!
