Trend - Arlington Community Outdoor Rink Schedule

The outdoor rink is operated by Trend-Arlington Community Association (TACA). See the Schedule for availability times and designated users. The rink coordinator for the season is Jason Cox. (Weather / Funding Permitting Rink will be open to mid-March.

The rink closes daily at 9:30 PM, and lights are on from dusk to 9:30 pm.

 

We want people to have fun, so here are a few rules for using our facility:

  • PUBLIC SKATING means ABSOLUTELY NO STICKS/PUCKS
  • Family means FAMILY HOCKEY = KIDS Hockey only (Parent Allowed with Children)
  • Shinny means SHINNY HOCKEY = ALL AGES
  • All other times - the rink is open with no supervision & no change room
  • A Note: AFTER SNOWFALLS GREATER THAN 2" RINK MAY BE CLOSED FOR CLEARING UP TO 72 HOURS. PLEASE HELP US SHOVEL - IT IS YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD RINK

If you would like to reserve our rink for a special occasion, a permit is required at least 6 days prior to the event. Permits are available by contacting Marianne Cox (TACA) at (613) 828-3460 or by email at rink@trendarlington.ca

Rink volunteers needed

The outdoor rink operations urgently require additional volunteers able to devote an hour or two a week. For high school students, helping out with the rink is an excellent opportunity to earn volunteer hours; for parents, contributing your time will help ensure proper supervision of the rink operations. If you can contribute a little (or a lot) of your time, please call the Association at 613.828.3460 or email us at rink@trendarlington.ca.
