Review of the 1996 Greenbelt Master PlanIn order to continue to ensure the protection of the Greenbelt, the National Capital Commission (NCC) has begun a review of the Greenbelt Master Plan in the fall of 2008. The review process, which is expected to be completed in 2011, will include both in-depth analysis and extensive public consultation. The general public and the NCC's federal, provincial and municipal partners will therefore be able to provide their comments and suggestions about the future of this unique space in Canada's Capital. The process will consist of a number of steps which began in 2008 and will be completed in 2011.
